NOVA v0.7.0

What's New

Managing a Fleet After Launch

  • Changed your mind? You can now recall a fleet within 30 seconds of sending it, as long as nothing has disturbed the star it left from. The ships and cash you committed are refunded, and any follow-on order you queued is called off with it. The recall window even works while the game is paused.
  • You can now turn arrival notifications on or off after a fleet has launched — flip the Notify control on any fleet in flight, and its follow-on order updates to match.

Fleets in Transit

  • Your fleets in flight are now listed soonest-arrival-first, so the next one to land is always right at the top. Tap a fleet in transit to open its detail panel and see — and manage — exactly what's on its way.

Comms

  • Your Comms feed now shows real history, reaching back across many production cycles instead of trailing off after just the last couple of events. Older dispatches and arrivals stay visible for far longer.
  • Each cycle you now get a personal production summary — "Produced N ships, +cX" — telling you what your worlds built for you, instead of a contentless heartbeat line. Quiet cycles where you produced nothing stay out of the feed.

Your Commander's Stats

  • Your Speed (pc/h) now appears in the Command panel, so you can see your fleet speed at a glance — and watch it climb as you invest in it. Speed values display cleanly instead of showing long trailing decimals.

Rebalanced Upgrades

  • Battle power and speed are now far more affordable to buy. Both were priced so high they almost never paid off against Nova's lean economy; the new, lower starting costs make investing in a faster, harder-hitting commander a real strategic choice. The new prices apply to newly created games.
